Learn how to adjust the resolution of your cameras using the PTZ controls in the recorder's web service. This guide provides step-by-step instructions to navigate the Camera OSD, select the desired resolution, and save your changes
If you wish to record a 5MP HDCVI camera at 1080p, it’s important to adjust the resolution directly through the camera's OSD (On-Screen Display) menu. Changing the resolution in the recorder's encode settings page only affects how the recorder processes and stores the video but does not alter the camera's actual output resolution. For the desired recording resolution to take effect, you must set it on the camera itself via the OSD menu.-
