When setting up the P2P feature on IC Realtime recorders (NVR or DVR), you may encounter instances where the P2P connection appears offline or fails to connect. Ensuring a stable connection for remote viewing through the IC Realtime app requires troubleshooting steps to address these issues effectively. Below are some recommendations and tips to resolve the "P2P offline issue":

P2P Troubleshooting on IC Realtime DVR/NVR:

  1. Verify Cable Connections: Ensure that the cabling from the NVR/DVR to the router is securely connected without any damaged or loose cables.

  2. Stable Internet Connection: Confirm that you have a stable and reliable internet service to support the P2P connection.

  3. Enable P2P Function: Check if the P2P function is enabled on the device. Navigate to Main Menu > Settings > Network > P2P, and ensure it is enabled.

  4. Toggle P2P Setting: Untick and tick the P2P setting again, then save the changes. Wait for 1-3 minutes to see if the P2P connection becomes online.
