The Auto Network Replenishment (ANR) function allows an NVR to download recorded files from a camera if the connection is interrupted.
In the images below, you can observe the recorded footage stored on the Network Video Recorder (NVR) for a specific camera. It is evident that the camera experienced a temporary disconnection from the NVR, lasting for approximately 10 minutes. During this time, no new footage was being captured or stored by the NVR.
Once the camera reestablished its connection with the NVR, a seamless process initiated where the footage recorded during the disconnection period was automatically copied and synchronized with the NVR. This ensures that no valuable or critical footage is lost or overlooked, even if interruptions occur.
Following the reconnection, the NVR resumed its normal recording operations, diligently capturing and storing footage from the camera without any further interruptions. This seamless transition guarantees the continuous surveillance and reliable storage of video data, maintaining the integrity and effectiveness of the overall monitoring system.
By successfully recovering and incorporating the temporarily disconnected camera's footage into the NVR, this capability provides peace of mind to users, ensuring that no significant events or incidents go unnoticed, regardless of any momentary disruptions in connectivity.
