IC Realtime - Error Messages on local Monitor for IP Channels
When an IP camera is not displaying on the recorder, the monitor attached will have an error code on why it is not working. Below are some of the errors that it will say.
- conf.LoginErrorNo-18: The camera is not initialized.
Troubleshooting: Attach a computer to the onboard PoE of the NVR and go to the IP address that the camera is displaying. Set a password for the camera and then finish the initialization. After the camera is initialized, update the cameras password on the recorder under Remote Device or Registration.
- Login return time is up: The recorder can not see the camera.
Troubleshooting: Check to see if the camera is powered and working on the IP that is displayed. Make sure the TCP port is correct for what is added under the camera registration page.
- Destination host unreachable: The recorder can not see the camera.
Troubleshooting: Check to see if the camera is powered and working on the IP that is displayed. Make sure the TCP port is correct for what is added under the camera registration page.
- Can not find Network host: The recorder can not see the camera.
Troubleshooting: Check to see if the camera is powered and working on the IP that is displayed. Make sure the TCP port is correct for what is added under the camera registration page.
- Invalid Username or Password: The camera has the wrong password input into the registration page.
Troubleshooting: Go to the Remote Device or Registration page and edit the cameras info with the correct username or password.
- Account Locked: The camera was tried with the wrong password too many times.
Troubleshooting: Update the password on the camera Registration page and then power cycle camera.
